Da Bears!!
Just thought I would take a moment to point out that the mighty Bears are making the Vikings look like a CFL team, a bad CFL team. Turn in the Queens jersey and get on the band wagon, baby! It is obvious that the addition of Cedric Benson to the team is karma come full circle. He may not contribute much to the team on the field, but just having a jersey with the name Benson on it was enough. Dad, Chad.... come on go get yourself one!!! Everyone in the family should get a Benson Bears jersey!!!!! The picture is just to serve as a small reminder that the Bears at least can win one.

Funny stuff Mitch. Do you think the world is coming to an end? First the White Sox, and now the Bears. The Apocalypse is soon coming!
Thanks for the good times. DJK
Let us talk a little bit about the Super Bowl. Sure the bears have a trophy but let's look a little closer at Super Bowl history.
Minnesota - Super Bowl IV, VII, IX, XI
Chicago - Super Bowl XX
Now the Chicago Bears made their first Super Bowl in 1985 Super Bowl XX. Yes they won their ONLY Super Bowl but they haven't been there since. So for the past 37 years the Bears have been able to make it to 1 Super Bowl; and since making that Super Bowl they haven’t even been close except for 1988 when they lost to San Francisco 28-3.
Now the Vikings were an expansion team in 1961. Their FIRST game was against the "mighty" Bears. The Vikes WHIPPED them 37-13. Let us now get to the Super BowlS. In 1970 a mere 9 years into existence the Vikes made their first Super Bowl, only the fourth Super Bowl ever played. As a matter of fact the Vikes were so good they went to the Super Bowl 3 of 4 years from 1974-1977. Granted the Vikes haven't been back since having thrown away a few excellent opportunities.
The Vikings have had 24 playoff appearances, been division champions 16 times, and have been to 8 NFC Championship games since the Super Bowl came into existence
The Bears have had 10 playoff appearances, been division champions 6 times, and have been to 3 NFC Championship games since the Super Bowl came into existence.
The Vikings lead the head to head series 40-47, let us not forget that as well.
Oh and the year isn't over yet. There is no way the Bears win the division. I don't know who will, it will be a dogfight between two .500 teams I'm sure. Not much of an accomplishment there no matter who wins.
Thanks for pointing out that the Vikes are better when it comes to being a bridesmaid than the bride... So what you are saying is, The Vikes have even had more chances than the Bears to win it all, and they still couldn't. That is a solid point. PS I hope you had to look up those stats for reference!
